You’ve been told, "it just comes with aging!" and "You'll learn to live with it!" But what if...
The human brain is designed to protect you. If it feels unsafe—whether due to past injuries, stress, or sensory mismatch—it will put the brakes on performance, flexibility, and freedom of movement. When our threat and stress levels reach a certain threshold, the protective 'brakes' WILL be applied, subconsciously in the brain and this always impacts signals going back out to the body (called 'outputs' in the world of Applied Neurology). This is a GOOD thing, because your system was designed to work this way, and it is GETTING YOUR ATTENTION, that it's time to CHANGE. What needs to change? That's the tricky question, because we've been studying current neuroscience and neuroanatomy for over a decade and guess what?! We're still learning and so are all the good PHD's in neuroscience.
We know that those signals can often be uncomfortable and TOUGH to deal with but there is actually MORE good news.
The brain can change and it changes across the lifespan! To start making those changes that start to improve life performance (instead of diminishing it), we just need to give it the right inputs.
Inside this coaching experience, we’ll:
- Identify the specific neural pathways that are holding you back
- Use simple, customized drills to recalibrate your brain’s threat response
- Create a continually adapting (because you're always adapting, like it or not) practice plan that progresses with your nervous system’s improvement
- Teach you how to assess your own readiness for movement—so you know what’s working
This is not a one-size-fits-all program.
It’s a one-on-one journey, tailored to your brain, your history, and your goals.
